The Children's Gift Event is coming up! Children can purchase gifts for family members for $2 per gift. Our elves will help shop and wrap.

 

Sunday, December 8th: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Ag Hall

 

Make sure the kids have their lists and we will make sure it's filled.

 

Hosted by the Mayne Island Thrift Store & the Mayne Island Agricultural Society.

One up!

A beautiful new, carved entrance to the Ag Hall Grounds is in process. One side is up! Look to see the other in the near future!

Ethnobotanical Garden in Progress!

A space beside the new Thrift Store is being prepared for the reintroduction of native plants, key to a healthy and diverse eco-system; many used by indigenous people for food, medicine and textiles.

Unveiling of the first of two Welcome Poles June took place on June 23, 2024.

Seedy Saturday

Seedy Saturday is an annual event. A chance to bring seeds, plants and cutting to swap, or gardening books and magazine to share! Mini seminars are also available on topics. The next Seedy Saturday event is April 6, 2024, 10am.
